I want to work in your office -- the health benefits look delicious!
ReplyDeleteIt's not bad! Although we do have a demanding tyrant for a boss. If his dinner isn't ready at 5, or "his" window is closed, there are stiff angry reprimands. We have to keep on our toes to keep everyone happy!
DeleteQuite an enviable commute, especially with the absence of road-rage whales!
ReplyDeleteOne day, I'll see a whale and all my dreams will come true!
DeleteWhat a fun job and commute you guys have! My commute: from bed to shower to exercise mat to breakfast table to office desk with tea mug. Amount of steps: 42. Weather window: always open. Health benefits: no traffic rage. Enjoyment level: less than Bahama-approved.
ReplyDeleteLife is pretty perfect right now! To avoid traffic rage is my #1 goal in life :-) The one thing I do miss is on demand hot water.
DeleteThis is my favorite post so far! It hints that you remember the horrors of commutes, office politics, and the mundanity of a 8-5 life. You've kept your senses of humor. Hastings is healthy & happy. And you found a pristine, empty harbor. I say perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh, we're like the north, "Independence remembers". :-)
