What Larks!
Summer Holiday
Southbound, June 2015
After surviving sailing south after sunset, we enjoyed Elliot Key for a day or so before heading south to Key Largo and Islamorada (bayside). We crossed over to the oceanside at Snake Creek, Islamorada, and made a swim stop at Sombrero Reef Light before anchoring at Bahia Honda. We had a lot of rain and even a fierce summer storm at Bahia Honda, but our anchor held fine in the insane currents and tight quarters. Bahia Honda has always held a special place in our hearts and it was the perfect apex of our summer vacation.Elliot Key, Biscayne Bay |

Hastings keeping an eye on me. He will watch, but it is his strong preference not to join in the swim party. |
